That might not be the data she’s after. I’m guessing she’s interested in the question, “Do people rate themselves as better if you prime them with a tribal identification.” Any tribe and any self rating would work. “What’s your favorite sports team? How often do you litter?”

yeah i clicked to that after i posted! but still worthwhile to note, i wouldnt trust self reporting on attractiveness at all.

My theory for this is that people over-rate by about 1-2 points, but that this is mostly all shifted up and relative ratings are still mostly accurate, if more noisy
