Interesting. Less attractiveness would I believe be associated with more external locus of control, so more socialism. However, intelligence and attractiveness are also correlated and highly intelligent people are more likely to identify as socialist for various reasons.

For me being anti-commie (I'm ok with democratic socialists) has nothing to do with perception of own attractiveness. I just was born in USSR, so saw first hand results of Soviet policies & rule.
