Reminder I have regularly argued that likely most of the bad outcomes in black communities (higher levels of crime and poverty) are downstream to the old drug wars and the destruction to families caused by the high incarceration rates of black men.

I mean phrenology isn't really an actual thing anymore, but it was cheeky reference Aella's proximity to scientific racists like Diana Fleischman

Seems she might be Phrenology *adjacent*. Mates with Lehmann and Quillette I think. I'm sure she knows it's nonsense tho

There's no evidence Fleischmann or Lehrman are racists. Quillete et al address topics leftists have declared verboten, like the racial IQ gap. Its cause is disputed, but its existence & impacts are real. Taring honest investigators as 'racists or 'eugenicists' won't change this.

I qualified racist with "scientific", a person using gay-nerd jargon to obfuscate their racism is less belligerent than the normal type, but still the same species. I am familiar with how the guise of truth-seeking is used to ignore the lack of evidence (GWAS genetic testing)

This thread seems entirely reasonable to me

well its definitely concise, but I think this is just the usual spiel for these types of ppl. rationalizing in-group racial preference as "homophily" is a good one lol

linking somethin reasonable and goin 'this is the usual spiel for these types of ppl' does not feel very persuasive to me. I also don't see the issue with using the term homophily?
