POLL THREAD: Working vs Upper Class. A refresher: WORKING: nascar, fast food, guns, religion, soda, disneyland, plastic, blue collar, gimmicky purchases UPPER: good colleges, mass transit, broadway, real wood, white collar, linen, organic, LGBTQ

Hm, interesting. I suppose I can agree that 'upper' probably talks about or thinks about mass transit more, but to me lower class is who actually uses mass transit. Maybe regional differences at play.

right; but also to be clear while income is correlated with class its not the same; the classic example is "starving artist" - super poor, but also upper class

Your nation of residence of your responders will skew that wildly depending on how well implemented their roads/public transport are implemented

Youre talking about mass transit supporters. In the current regime, almost no one either class is a user

that's bc you grew up in a rural area, that's where working class people you know are from. You moved to the cities as a high-end escort and met upper-class city people. Working class city people are all about public transport

I moved to the cities well before I was a high end escort, why do ppl keep telling me confidently about my life instead of asking me if I think this is a good theory?

Not enough people in the upper class have ever owned a truck. I used to be all about Mass transit, bought a new half ton truck, and now my rig is my baby
