Nothing is 'just' anything; I am very pro vaccination and am kinda mad at anti-vaxxers for the costs they're imposing on the rest of us, but *also* the effects of the vaccine mandates I suspect are doin a weird bad stratifying thing

There have been many vaccine mandates in the history of the country and government actually waited quite a long time to issue one for covid. It's being framed as class warfare thing from people who benefit from that framing.

I don't care who else frames it as what, and precedent feels irrelevant here; I, an extremely pro-vaccine person, independently am noticing it feels a little class-warfarey.

Why would precedent feel irrelevant? Vaccine mandates in the past weren't class warfare then this one only feels that way because of the politics framing the issue.
The government has a compelling interest in getting the population vaccinated and it's close to that simple.
