psychedelics were part of my process of going from being essentially crippled by chronic pain to.. not that. (Most of my pain turned out to be psychomatic to some degree though) -
kudos to you +anyone who realizes this. i feel the mind is the 1st place to look for answers. so many of our issues are hidden in there. wish more would try your approach

No but I addressed chronic pain by eating healthy and working out, i think drugs could provide some value if those aren’t options.

On this note, psychedelics can be useful tools (ie the lead domino) for onboarding the desire to eat healthy and exercise.

Yes. I wouldn't recommend it as it "enhanced" the pain in an unpleasant way. It started out nice and easy, but seemed to focus (extremely gradually) on the focal points until I was overwhelmed. I ended up drinking myself into a stupor. Everyone's experience is different, so..

Just to clarify, did it do this only during your trip, or afterward?

I suggested it to someone for cluster headaches after reading up on the ailment, years ago. At the time, it was a promising treatment for a miserable condition.

Not with psychedelics, but depending on the type of pain, trigger point (self-)massage could work. I recommend The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook.
