psychedelics were part of my process of going from being essentially crippled by chronic pain to.. not that. (Most of my pain turned out to be psychomatic to some degree though)

Yes. I wouldn't recommend it as it "enhanced" the pain in an unpleasant way. It started out nice and easy, but seemed to focus (extremely gradually) on the focal points until I was overwhelmed. I ended up drinking myself into a stupor. Everyone's experience is different, so..

Not with psychedelics, but depending on the type of pain, trigger point (self-)massage could work. I recommend The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook.

I'm going to a talk tonight at Soho house in Miami about pretty much this exact thing "Daniel Carcillo 2 time Stanley cup winner, psychedelic medical expert Dr. Michelle Weiner and investor Dustin Robinson"

I remember when I was a kid like 19/20 I noticed that lsd completely removed stuff like headaches or whatever, you went to another place where such things were irrelevant. This was a long time ago, I don't know if what you get is actually pure acid these days.
