How? The choices are masculine and feminine, not male and female, masculine and feminine are inherently opposite ends of the spectrum that we perceive as gender.

Wrong. There is an arbitrarily constructed spectrum that sexists (not 'we') perceive as gender. You either 'unperceive' sexist perceptions or you are a sexist
