Onlyfans is.... unbanning porn?
My guess is they thought complying with financial systems wouldn't be worth keeping porn. Then, when they banned it, their numbers dropped more than they thought and they realized compliance *was* worth keeping porn.

or, idfk. This is crazy town. it's possible this came from pressure on payment processors; I don't think Mastercard and Co. have ever had the public eye angry at them this much before. Maybe they agreed to be more lenient or make an exception for onlyfans?

Either way its annoying whiplash for me, I just spent the last few days working on a lot of stuff in preparation for the change and now I gotta spend more days undoing all of it.

Nah they're "suspending" the ban, which means they could change their minds at any later date.

They are only "suspending" the changes... I think they still don't know how to handle the situation, that they lost so many creators and users in such a short time

As costly and difficult as it is, OnlyFans would be better off transitioning to crypto payments rather than banning their core business.

It's more I think that due to the public backlash they were able to negotiate better terms with payment systems. It's not like they WANTED to ban porn in the first place...
Still, we'll see how it'll go :)

Private businesses can do whatever they, though, right? You just have to adapt, right?
