If there is one there are infinitely many in this scenario. But if our "souls" can only bind to a subset of brains similar enough to the ones we have now, then it seems possible we don't all have to be serial killers in some instance.

Being as autistic as I am and some of the bad shit that happened to me in my developmental years if I didn't receive the support I needed in my teens I'd be an absolute lunatic, dunno if I'd be capable of doing a murder though.
