You don't think there's ever a good reason to dislike an ideology?
Maybe I'm just misreading. This sounds like people can't dislike something for a valid reason because they're bias on disliking it? Seems circular and incorrect.
But I'm high so maybe I'm misinterpreting it

unfortunately the people with bad ideologies are aware of this which is why you see them working tirelessly to annex the entire space of ideas and symbols

My very liberal co-worker thinks that no one should use Pepe's anymore 😥. However, in the same vein, I think it's pretty uncouth to fly a swastika. Both icons had unhateful origins, but were eventually co-opted by a hate group. 1/2
