I grew up in an oppressive religious atmosphere that viewed deviant sexuality as harmful. It would 'corrupt my soul', it would emotionally drain me, it would make me a vacant-eyed wreck.
But no, it fucking didn't. They were wrong, I was fine. And they still don't believe me.

No, me and many other people like me *are different from you*. We have different relationships to sex, actually, genuinely, and our sex work feels good and vibrant and healthy. We're not in denial, we're not a threat, we're just different from you, why can't you understand that?

OF’s decision aside (they’re ultimately a private company), this is hypocritical. You can’t just dismiss the totality of criticisms of porn as “moralizing” because you “feel” it’s good. Data on impact of sexual content on relationships + women’s psychological health has legs

I have never claimed that sex work doesn't cause damage. My issue with this argument is that it's a disproportionate focus; other jobs had *much* worse impacts on my psychological health but nobody was concerned for me when I was working those.
