This is true! But, not necessarily unwise. A society that doesn't value "protecting the children" highly (perhaps, above all) is a society with an expiration date.

"Above all" is a kind of scary claim, I can think of a lot of things I'd rather keep before protecting children; e.g., letting children play outside despite the fact that one of my childhood friend's brothers hit head on rock and died when playing outside.

First of all, yikes, new nightmare I am speaking in very general terms, and yes, a certain amount of risk and danger is healthy. But I think the Apple case is more complex than that (if that is indeed what you were referring to).
