in response to a friend's fb post on "what was a day your life changed"? I'm fascinated by how his *experience of the persuasiveness of an argument* was changed after modifying his brain. Our thoughts aren't ours, they belong to that fleshy mass in our skull.

It's a bit what happening to me right now - not because of a brain surgery, but something like a mild depression. It's very difficult for me to express any feelings. Fear too. Or anxiety. It's like a superpower. But it's not really a good thing and I hope it's temporary.

We are going to eventually be able to physically alter our brains in a way that creates the headspace we want to have. At rhat point people will fall into groups and almost essentially evolve into different subspecies. The people that have removed fear being their own species etc
