I haven't done a solo road trip in like... a decade. I don't love them? But also don't hate them?

Drive if you like driving, if the scenery is nice, and if you have good podcasts to listen to.

Doing a multi-day, multi-state road trip is something to do once (see what the country actually looks like), so you should drive unless you've done that sort of thing before

Depends on how much you like solo road trips, whether there's cool stuff to see on your route, and if there's people to visit on the way.
Personally I would road trip but I like road trips.

Road trips provide a greater opportunity to experience something you've never experienced before. There is no mystery to getting on/off a plane. I vote for the mystery of the potential experience.

If a big semi permanent move, I think the drive is a nice way to reflect and imagine (tho also nice to just fly in and say hello new life) I think key is imagining how you'd feel on day 3 of the drive, if really bad, then fly

I vote road trip if you haven't done one in a while. Load up on podcasts, audiobooks, music playlists. Also gives you the flexibility to stop at anything that perks your interest.
