School as it currently exists is one of the worst things about civilization. If I had to choose between stopping global warming or ending all school (with decent alternatives) I would probably end all school.

Can you point me to any articles where I can read about this point of view? Or a podcast to listen to? It's pretty alien to me and I want to understand more!

I should probably write something; but basically, I was homeschooled and find a lot about normal school to be absolutely horrifying and everybody else takes it as normal. no it's not normal to socialize with only pps of your own age and have so little spare time

Honestly, and I'm not trying to be insulting at all but probably 90% of the homeschooled people I've known in my life are very socially awkward

ya i can see that...i know peoples homeschooling experiences can be way different from the next but the ones ive heard of the kids in homeschool interact with a lot less people, especially people with different backgrounds and in doing so the kids seem sheltered and naive

and i know this is totally generalizing and there are homeschooled people who are extremely personable
