do you feel judged by your social group for having vanilla (or not kinky enough) sexual preferences?

Why would people I'm not sleeping with be discussing my sexual preferences?

I voted "yes, a lot." What's sad is that I'm a very kinky person and most people in my social circle are kinksters. The thing is I'm not into shibari or traditional BDSM, and a lot of people look down on me for that. For a fringe community, kinksters can be so judgmental.

*shrugs* I don't have a social group. If randos from anywhere make that judgement, I don't feel it because their views are irrelevant.

If there is social pressure to perform a sexual act it's not really "kinky", is it

I'm getting the feeling you can start to understand a person far better by the questions they ask than by the statements they make.

I've only told a couple of my real friends the extent of my kinks. I knew they wouldn't judge. As for the bulk of my friends? I'd never tell them the truth!

I’m a complete freak in one group, and in another group I’m vanilla by comparison

We're very much at rick of the exact opposite.
The few friends who know have already had their minds melted by discovering that we're kinkier than all of our friends put together.
But we're lucky to have friends who we've known for decades, and who are SUPER open to whatever.
