Literally cannot voluntarily nap. Found this out the hard way when I tried to do the polyphasic sleep thing a decade ago.

I was just thinking today (after a fitful nap) that maybe the reason I'm not good at napping is I'm not quite diurnal. If I'm going to sleep during the day, my body wants to *stay* asleep.

So I never wake up feeling refreshed and invigorated like I've heard other people do. I just feel weird and sleepy, even worse than when I wake up in the morning.

There is no scenario in which I cannot take a nap. Pretty sure its my body's natural reaction to discomfort. Sitting in an uncomfortable plane seat? Body shuts down. Effectively teleportation as far as my consciousness is concerned. A+ underrated super power.
