my household just lost an egg "weren't you gonna make me an egg?" "yea i did, i gave it to you, on a plate with a fork, im 100% sure" "what, no you didn't, i absolutely did not eat an egg" now its been 30 min of people scouring the house for an egg and loudly accusing each other

right now dominant theory is that egg-receiver ate it without knowing, cause he was distracted, and then 3rd party absentmindedly cleaned up dishes however alleged egg-receiver is enthusiastically denying it and insisting we're all gaslighting him

one of us had brilliant idea to check the dishwasher - indeed there was egg marked dish. Aha! entire household gathered around dishwasher to analyze egg splash patterns, made egg-receiver hold it to try to trigger the memory of egg-eating

egg-receiver was sus someone must have thrown the egg away; he dug through the trash, then commenced debate about whether the yellowish thing he found was in fact an egg, person #4 insisting no its mango rind he threw away earlier this morning
