Depends on the pit bull. On a chain and half-starved: scary. Spoiled on a couch: cute.

Pitbulls do in fact cause more injuries per dog than any other breed of dog, so a lot of people think that they're bad, which offends some dog lovers, who feel like the cute little things are being unjustly persecuted, and get a pitbull in order to defend it.
