I've learned to *never* joke about people's names. Not primarily because it may offend them, though that's also true. Mostly because, no matter how brilliantly clever the joke is, they have *always* heard it before. And that kills every joke.

That second language one i resonate with alot. When someone pointed out (at 12 btw) that they can speak two languages and i can only speak one. Making fun of non native speakers became completely redundant. For me anyway.
