On my previous survey, men reported being into more things than women; something else is obviously going on here. Score was weighted by how taboo each fetish was, so this seems to imply women are into fewer, but more taboo things? Not intuitive. Will have to investigate further.

another theory is that i posted on reddit and fetlife; reddit responses have mostly men, fetlife is slightly more balanced, with more women, so I may have gotten disproportionately kinky women

There was a study where men & women were shown sexual imagery while hooked up to blood flow sensors on the genitals.
Women reported being mostly unaroused, but the sensors showed responses to much broader & more controversial material than men.
I can believe that.
