usually no-poo doesnt include no-maintenance; i used rye flour once every few weeks to absorb the grease and then brushed it out
With short hair, I don’t have to do anything but massage my scalp under water in the shower and then kind of swirl a silicone tool around on my scalp (also under water) to redistribute oil. Super fast. With long hair I’d need to do a more involved thing.

Once you have to do something every few weeks, why not make that thing shampoo?
