I feel like I'm in crazytown when I express distress about taxation - literally people forcibly taking away your property - and ppl act like I'm the crazy one. Sure, you could argue that this forcible theft is worth it, and I'll respect that, but it's still not crazy to be upset.

How, exactly, did it come to be your property in the first place? At some point, someone had to take an unowned object and claim it was theirs. The is the foundation of quicksand that libertarianism is built on.

I don’t think you’re crazy for thinking that. If you take property rights to their logical conclusion you end up with libertarianism and thinking taxes are theft - they sort-of are. But a) most people don’t think in that ultra logical fashion
