I feel like I'm in crazytown when I express distress about taxation - literally people forcibly taking away your property - and ppl act like I'm the crazy one. Sure, you could argue that this forcible theft is worth it, and I'll respect that, but it's still not crazy to be upset.
As I mentioned elsewhere in the thread, protecting negative rights is one of the very few things I think is actually the job of government

I don’t think you’re crazy for thinking that. If you take property rights to their logical conclusion you end up with libertarianism and thinking taxes are theft - they sort-of are. But a) most people don’t think in that ultra logical fashion

And b) if you do, at some point someone had to just arbitrarily take possession of every bit of land, everything. That’s the flaw in theory of libertarianism.
