I feel like I'm in crazytown when I express distress about taxation - literally people forcibly taking away your property - and ppl act like I'm the crazy one. Sure, you could argue that this forcible theft is worth it, and I'll respect that, but it's still not crazy to be upset.

government adds value by printing and providing its citizens a medium of exchange through US fiat. (also other things) You should pay the government back for providing you that service? no?

The point you are missing is that we don't get to choose what our tax money goes towards, we pay taxes for things that may or will NEVER benefit us. Ex: i don't have children, yet im paying for taxes for funding schools, i can give many other examples (just limited by space).

The concept of 'entitlement' is a bit weird; if you produce something, it *only* has value if someone else consensually chooses to purchase it. If nobody wants to exchange anything for it, then it has no value.
