I feel like I'm in crazytown when I express distress about taxation - literally people forcibly taking away your property - and ppl act like I'm the crazy one. Sure, you could argue that this forcible theft is worth it, and I'll respect that, but it's still not crazy to be upset.

Do you drive or walk on the streets? If your home catches on fire, going to call the fire debt.? Did you attend public school? If someone kicks your ass, you calling the cops? I could do this all day. You want to live in a civiliazed world, you just don't want to pay for it.

I didn't attend public school, and consider this a good move; government-run schools are pretty bad. Also you do realize that people who think taxation is bad haven't ever thought at all about funding these things? This is a really elementary criticism.

I did attend public school and have 2 college degrees; so much for "pretty bad." Taxation is elementary; it pays for all kinds of things you do use whether you want to admit it or not. Even if you don't ever use them (i.e.: house never on fire) you still want to be able to.
