I feel like I'm in crazytown when I express distress about taxation - literally people forcibly taking away your property - and ppl act like I'm the crazy one. Sure, you could argue that this forcible theft is worth it, and I'll respect that, but it's still not crazy to be upset.

Taxation is not theft though. Taxation is the fee you pay for the services and citizenship of the country. One service being that you can live in a home on the land of the country.. These are the stipulations of citizenship in this country. It's not theft just like onlyfans subsc

This feels pretty gaslighty - i can choose not to pay fees. Fees are things that I can avoid if I want. I *can't* choose not to pay taxes. They will put me in jail if I don't. Sure, you personally might consider it worth it, but I don't. It feels actually, really fucked up.

If you do not pay for the sub fees, then you are no longer eligible for the services. You can choose not to pay the taxes, so long as you also leave the country because you are no longer eligible for services. If I dont pay your onlyfans fees, but take your content, I am stealing

Once you renounce your citizenship and go through the proceedings, at some point (I think?) you will no longer be a US citizen and no longer need to pay US taxes. I think lol. It sounds like a shit deal, and most likely it is. But it is still not theft. It is just a bad deal.
