The ballooning government control over our lives, our bodies, and our property is really freaking me out, and I feel helpless because the same government has made it extraordinarily difficult to find any escape. How do you handle this? What do you do?

So, more active fiscal policy, rather than direct social control? That’s definitely a thing lately, yeah. I guess in that case, put money in overseas investments that wouldn’t be effected if there’s economic fallout in the US? (Or, more paranoid, that the Fed couldn’t freeze)

Do you make more than $1M a year and have capital gains? Congrats! How would you propose we fund the government that helped you achieve your success?

I think I would have had even greater success if the government hadn't been taking away 30-50% of every dollar I earn, depending on the year. And I'm still horrified about violations that happen to people who aren't me.
