The ballooning government control over our lives, our bodies, and our property is really freaking me out, and I feel helpless because the same government has made it extraordinarily difficult to find any escape.
How do you handle this? What do you do?

I probably speak for most liberal-y readers when I ask, has government control actually been unusually expansive lately? What are examples of what you’re worried about?

Proposed increase capital gains tax, tax in general, the massive bailouts recently, the government money printing that's likely going to cause significant inflation, and just. In general I feel this all the time.

It's illegal not to pay the government taxes on every single transaction you've made with crypto though.

The increase in capital gains won’t affect you unless you’re clearing over $1M/yr, marginal rate would still be historically low, & money printing leading to inflation is dumb to be worried abt unless that money isn’t being deleted by taxation.

I've started trading for my future because my job doesn't offer a pension. I use my earning to fund my trading which have already been taxed and I still have to pay 33% extra tax on anything I earn from those already taxed funds.
I survive paycheck to paycheck and feel robbed.
