It's obviously polyamory. Some may associate polyamory with hippies, but these hippies alone would be richer than at least 90% of people on the planet.

Monogamous commitment is typically part of the success cycle, so that.
Polyamory probably has fatter tails though, so probably more outliers.

I'm guessing people who prefer mono tend to be older, and there's a pretty big correlation between age and net worth

You have to be at least mildly succeesful as a guy to engage in polyamory. I doubt that lower/working class guys find enough partners for polymaory. Although I could imagine my observations are not true for polyamorous women

I think for a lot of these things change depending on whether you stay linear. Income and net worth are so heavy tailed. I think if you stay linear, it’s probably a lot about how you treat the outliers.

Depends on the population you draw from. Across the world, probably polyamory has disproportionate numbers of bay area tech workers with high net worth. Restricting to bay area tech workers, monogamy probably correlates with normie success

Bet their distribution curves are way different. Polyamory will be higher on average but few/no very high end people.
