This should be interesting, for the CRTists race tends to be absolute but gender is on a spectrum.

A spectrum has two ends (and most people identify with male or female) whereas race does not have a polarity and people identify with a broad range of traits. In this sense Gender is more like a spectrum

Even for people who don't believe in a gender binary for individuals, they still implicitly admit distinct traits as masculine and feminine. Race on the other hand is literally smooth gradients without clear polarities.

I don't view gender as a spectrum on which someone is placed, but as a collection of attributes and behaviours that people can freely pick and choose.

There isn't really a correct answer here..
The idea of a spectrum negates any ability to compare them.
The only reason to define something a spectrum, is that it has an immeasurable quantity of outcomes.

I see Gender more as an spectrum because it works on a binary axis, there is Male, Female, Intersex, Trans, that's it. Race on the other hand couldn't be described in a single line, we'd need many of them.
