After I'm fully vaxxed, I'm not gonna wear a mask unless it's required to enter a place, I'm not gonna socially distance, I'm not gonna be careful, and I get a lil triggered when I see people saying we should be. What sort of life are we preserving at that point?

The vaccines only reduce severity of illness and probability of fatality. As can be seen in data from Israel, it takes 65%-70% population coverage, to make a dent in transmission. Until that point of coverage is reached, masks will still help with source control.

America is about 8 weeks or so from reaching the kind of population coverage that will make a difference to community transmission. (Including those with immunity by recovery.) Given what VoCs are doing in other parts of the world, it seems worth doing the next 8 weeks cautiously
