I like figuring things out; once I've figured it out and it becomes routine, I have a really hard time making myself do the routine. So I'm taking a break from onlyfans for a month or two. I figured out how to do it, so now I'm gonna focus on other projects.

It feels dumb cause I make so much from onlyfans so it feels bad to step away from it, like I'm leaving a lot on the table. But I'm trying to be more ok chasing passion, especially when I have a bit of a safety net now.

your previous tweet aside, you are exactly the kind of person who should study philosophy. your life would be enriched to an extent that i cannot properly express to someone who has not studied it

I think philosophy might be awful. I like learning, but I'm very wary of what philosophy seems to consist of

I don't think I want to read old dead philosophers. I think often their ideas aren't very good, or are outdated, and they're often horrible at communicating, which is often a sign of unclear thinking. I want to approach thinking raw and unprotected.

you really are a fascinating person. But even with your intellect, we all stand on the shoulders of giants. Are you intelligent enough to figure out everything, given sufficient time. I have no doubt. But most advancements, whether they be inventions, art, or (1/2)

or schools of thought, are incremental improvements over the state of the art. Sure, there are the revolutionary developments, but most improvements are more evolutionary. I have 2 questions 1) Did I miss your point? 2) or does philosophy just doesn't ignite your passion?

I have read works by people who were really formative to my thinking. I don't mean that learning from others is bad - I mean that the type of learning they seem to have you do from the type of people you study in Philosophy, seem unusually bad compared to other things.

very fair comment. Thank you. And I agree. I believe philosophy is important. But would not want to study it in University either.
