FYI, until I got to this one, I assumed that the "people" in question didn't need to know that the polled examples were true of the people they knew. They just needed to know people for whom it was true. Might just be me but it seems ambiguous in hindsight too.

I didn't realize that they had to, e.g., know that the person in question was a pedo, or poly or transgender or whichever markers were listed. I interpreted it as them reporting what they thought was most likely based on statistics and knowledge of the people combined.
