I have been censoring myself on twitter a bit more in the last few months because I'm starting to work a bit with Real Actual Companies. This is a conscious move on my part and is not a change of my beliefs or values.

Interesting. What do you think of pseudonymous identities in this regard?
Is the lack of attribution to your “self” an ok cost if it allows “real company” protection? Or does that also dilute the reputation you build.
Also, sorry if the censorship feels hurtful.

Now imagine you're a major social media company or online video platform working with advertisers and sponsors. And you get reddit banning communities, youtube removing content, twitter ban waves, etc. because $$$
