I'm feeling sad about the reaction to the recent shooting. Though the shooter specifically expressed sex worker targeted hatred, and though sex workers experience a much higher % of violence than asians, I've seen only a tiny fraction of the solidarity given to sex workers.

No, that’s not it. Our social landscape is merely trying to undo the damage done by trump. When he referred to the coronavirus as the “China virus” he mobilized a minority following of his (mostly white people), to start harassing Asians.

But none the less, the violence was coming from the same group. I’m half Japanese, and all the racism I’ve ever experienced has been mostly from that same group. Has been happening since middle school.
