I'm feeling sad about the reaction to the recent shooting. Though the shooter specifically expressed sex worker targeted hatred, and though sex workers experience a much higher % of violence than asians, I've seen only a tiny fraction of the solidarity given to sex workers.

A question for you- is it your position that sex work ought to be a mainstream and acceptable part of society? Or do you think it should always be a bit taboo? I ask because the latter situation makes the lack of sympathy unsurprising, albeit saddening.
