Why is it a must for you to defend the worst, instead of showing support for Asian sex workers? It is frankly, really gross, especially coming from another sex worker. twitter.com/elisewho/statu

I'm not sure where you're getting the impression I'm defending him I'm criticizing the media downplaying the danger to sex workers by using a more socially acceptable narrative of race

You’re painting this as the victims were coincidentally Asian, when 6 Asian women were killed, and I find it really gross. Three massage parlors were targeted. If it wasn’t a racially motivated killing, he could have driven to a Nevada brothel instead or a strip club in Atlanta.

I mean he could but it seems weird for a guy who wants to shoot up sex workers to make sure he drives farther away to a place where the sex workers are more racially diverse

Why can it not be they were both sex workers and they were Asian and that was part of the motivation as well? It is how support groups and donation groups like Red Canary Song are treating it. If he shot up an Atlantic strip club, I wouldn’t say it was against Asians.

The media is downplaying that this was the result of whorephobia, but why go so far to completely dismiss that it was also racially motivated like you did? It’s not mutually exclusive and there’s evidence now that he planned to explicitly targeted Asian people..

Exactly, it isn’t some “woke mob” coming after him. It just doesn’t need to be mutually exclusive, considering the majority of AMPs are Asian with Asian workers, and other media is placing a witness who heard him screaming about killing the Asians.
