The massage parlor shootings weren't targeting asians, they were targeting sex workers, of which asians in that area happened to make up a high number. It seems silly that this is being reported as violence against asians instead of violence against sex workers.

Agreed buuuuut, like most investigations, not all the evidence has been developed or released when less than 24hrs has passed. This might hold to be true or it might take a left turn when additional facts come out. But I agree with your instinct.
