The massage parlor shootings weren't targeting asians, they were targeting sex workers, of which asians in that area happened to make up a high number. It seems silly that this is being reported as violence against asians instead of violence against sex workers.

It seems premature at least to draw that conclusion at this stage. It seems plausible, but I don't see a convincing reason to believe that it necessarily must be the motive at this stage.
