Right, the idea that everybody just brushes it off as necessary is crazy to me. Like welp we have to do it so don't question it. Like imo it should be viewed as a moral outrage that is necessary to some degree and we should reduce it as much as possible

The FDA increases drug prices, leading to greater need and wealth driven to insurance companies, and since most insurance is tied to jobs, increases the dependency of people on their employers on order to get medication, which allows employers to have worse working conditions
