A definition of terms is probably needed. There are grades of intense before real "hurting." I try to avoid stuff that leaves lasting marks.

Dunno about being tied up? As a woman if I'm alone with a man I'm already aware that I'm at his mercy, ultimately. Not sure what element that would rly add for me beside maybe annoyance at being bound. But would take pleasure in being hurt either way, for sure.
