Just woke up from a dream where I was standing in my early childhood home, explaining to people that a very common setting for my dreams is in my early childhood home

Then I had sex with the person who was moving into that home (cause I hadn't lived there in a long time) and then had to tell him no I'm sorry I don't actually like you I'm just slutty, cause he looked me up online and suddenly got real desperate and unattractive

when that happens try not to go to sleep within the dream. your sub-concious mind might get angry at you for subjecting it to meta-meta-metaphors.

You are rebelling against your upbringing, the house represents the home schooling and moral / sect environment. The adult you is trying to allow the adolescent you to break free.

Constantly accosted in my dreams by witches and what I think of as mid level ignorant angels. My favorite one tonight was, I'm floating my inner child on a pillow to god where it would be cared for instead it was taken by this horrible machine that was going to cut its head off.

I too often have my childhood home as the "setting" for many of my dreams. Same with familiar streets.

Have we done a poll on this yet? I also have dreams set in my childhood home a lot. I wonder how common that is.
