there's actual bidding happening on my first auctioned NFT, which is very exciting. Somehow the anonymity of the bidders makes it even more fun, like it could be *any one of you*.

I don't understand the psychology of NFTs at all. People are bidding real money for... the knowledge that a ledger says they own something? I guess it's a signalling thing? You get to show people your "collection", even though you don't actually have any physical objects.
