Life has been so easy for me in recent years; I am now a delicate little soft-handed dumpling. I'm not desperate at all, I am displeased with how many steps I have to walk to the bathroom in my house. I eat cheese all day, sometimes I buy new underwear instead of doing laundry.

I've learned the more comfortable I feel, I'm that much less prepared for the next shitstorm that's lurking around the corner. And yet, it's so hard to deprogram that predilection for comfort.
