Why is it so hard for me to get crypto culture? I get lots of communities easily, get a good sense of their norms and landscape, but for some reason I have repeatedly failed at this with crypto, despite having e.g. held crypto for 7 years, worked on an ico and been to devcon. 1/
Sure, but I still feel like I can 'feel' things that aren't emotions based - I 'feel' an okay grasp on basic statistics, and feel a sense of what I need to do and learn to get a better grasp on it; the concepts are familiar, within reach

It encompasses a lot, and combines a lot of fields...Can you be more specific about what you don’t get? The technology itself? cultish love for the technology? social contract implicit in creating something out of thin air? opting out the of system? meme culture? tribal nature?
