ngl i sometimes fantasize about having a super competent manager who takes like 20% of my income and figures out all the new cool important things to do and tells me exactly what to do so I can go think about other things

May sound odd, but have you thought of do that for other people in your field? Be like coach or manager for them, I would imagine they may not want to put in the same kind of work but it would set them up.
