LSD was known as the thing that made you jump out of windows, but on reasonable, low doses with proper instruction and care, it's actually incredible and super low risk.
Are there any other drugs that get a bad rap but are actually pretty great when used very carefully?

Its happened to a friend of mine, hes still paralyzed. I'm sure it's not out of the realm of possibility, just not all to common

Isn’t that true for every drug? Amphetamines, benzodiazepines, SSRIs, cannabis, even alcohol and nicotine are all incredible when used reasonably by people whose individual chemistry renders them susceptible to their positive effects.
