When I was young, I had a crush on this 17 y/o with schizophrenia (or something), and saw demons everywhere. But, cause we lived in a fundie evangelical world, everybody believed him and acted as tho the demons were really there. He was considered to have special powers from God.

I have vivid memories of seeing demons and fairies in my early teenage years. I even drew a bunch of pictures of them. Once heard a doctor on TV talking about sleep states. I sort of dismissed it as waking dreams after hearing that. Hasn't happened since.

Was your attraction to him based on his super Spirit o' the Lord powers or was it pretty basic attraction that just amended that in like "Oh, dope, he's real cute AND can perceive Demons from literal Biblical Hell. If he also plays guitar we've got a total package on our hands."
