That formulation 'finally starting to realize...' is very frustrating and implies an epistemic moral high ground. As if all conversation wasn't part of an open ended project of truth seeking by error correction. You never know what you don't know or will understand next!

Agreed! Serious question, if somebody were to say this in good faith, not realizing this, what would be a concise way of articulating that this was your intention for conversing or putting that thought out? As a complex thinker, it can be hard to do an ELI5
