Lots of ppl hate sex workers, which sometimes tempts me to underplay the negative aspects of my job - stuff they'd use to reinforce their position. But me being dishonest about my reality also reinforces them. I have much more hope in persistent, nuanced honesty.

And similarly, I want to be unafraid to being up negative aspects of other perspectives I don't belong to, without this meaning I'm at war. A lot of painful truths are used as attack points; I want to name those truths without using them as attack points.

Lots of people like sex workers. Lots of people think sex workers are just people. Lots of people disagree with lots of people on just about everything. You can't fix stupid. Continuing to be honest is a good strategy. Don't get down when you can't reason with everyone
